Encore Boat Builders LLC, located in Lexington South Carolina, has announced today that they have purchased all the Assets and the name rights of Sundancer pontoon boat company, located in Lebanon Mo. Sundancer has been a family owned pontoon company there for the last 23 years. Steve Deese, CEO of Encore Boat Builders has stated that Encore will begin producing the Sundancer Pontoon in Jan 2011 and will begin establishing new and current dealers for Sundancer pontoons in all areas of the country immediately. This purchase will allow Encore to begin their growth plans for expanding in the pontoon market with an entirely new pontoon line. Encore has had an increase in production this year by 50 per cent and has doubled their dealer network in the last year. “Sundancer will be a real bonus to our company and will increase our market exposure greatly ” Deese stated. The Sundancer line will offer a pontoon boat from 18ft up to 28 ft fully equipped and moderately priced. Encore manufactures the Bentley Encore pontoon and is the fastest growing pontoon company in the market. Encore Boat builders manufactures at two plants located in Lexington South Carolina and in Mexico Missouri. Encore has been in full production throughout the winter season and is hiring new employees. We are looking forward to adding new dealers to our dealer network with this new expansion of Sundancer Pontoons.
